? 2007 OH Conference in Florida ?

i know i know... im not lynda... but last year we went to city walk at island of adventure..... and then the confrence was all day.... i went home after that but others stayed... we had a great time!!

So...is it like .a support group? Or is it a bunch of vendors setting up tables that have products geared to healthy weight loss & WLS?. Kinda like the womans show or something like that? Also what was the cost last year to get in? Thanks for the info!!

there were venders... there were also guest speakers.... i dont really remeber to much... just that we had fun... there were give aways... and support... it was about 50 bucks

Orlando area has so many wonderful places that would accomodate your estimated number of people. I would luv to get on the volunteer list for this event. Hope it comes to pass. luvitsunnyv

I most probably will not be attending this conference as I heard Dr.Shuster talk last year in Fort Lauderdale and he is sponsoring the whole conference again this year as he did last year. And he says not to use a Surgeon who advertises. Well what is his presentation this year that will be different from last year, it's a advertisement. How about letting all of the other surgeon's in Florida a chance to participate. Who ever is planning this years, good luck in making it different than these years past. That will make us want to attend.

That is too bad you feel like that Michael. I find the best part of these events is meeting other people. All these events are advertisements--that is life. I am quite sure there are plenty of opportunities for other docs to particpate. if I remember correctly, in Orlando, there were 4 plastic surgeons participating. Dr Shuster was among them. I believe his point about advertising is not to choose a doctor just because of their advertisements. Do research. I hope that I get an opportunity to get together again with some of my friends who I met in orlando and meet new friends also.
