Ok guys Here goes!!!
You are all so great keeping me occupied with your nice messages while I wait.
I had to go out this morning and when I came home my hubby told me my doctors office called but he didn't reach the phone before they hung up. OMG I was so excited! I started trying to call them back and then realized the number I was dialing from caller ID was actually their fax number so I went to check my fax machine. There I found the message "I am missing your diet history. Please call me after 1:30." It was only about 12:30. UGH!!!
Sooo my paperwork did not go in yesterday. She was getting ready to send it when she realized the DH was missing. The reason it was missing was that I had answered all of that in my pt. questionairre and Patrice said that was all I needed. Anyway I typed one up real fast (don't want to give the ins. co. any reason to turn me down) and faxed it to the Drs. office. Patrice is out on medical leave and the poor lady that is doing this while she is out isn't really used to doing the submitting. She realizes how hard this process is on us though and is trying hard to get everything right the first time. I appreciate this! She said she would send it this afternoon. So I don't have to stress out over the weekend but by Tuesday I know I will be basket case. LOL!!!
Thanks again guys for all of your kind messages!
Barbi I think we are all leg crossers. I think it is a reflex and we lose it when we get to heavy to do it. My Mom was the same way. She always said after her surgery the best thing about losing weight is that you can cross your legs again. LOL! My Mom had one of the original bypass procedures back in the late 70s. She doesn't have a pouch she just had her intestine bypassed drastically. She lost about 200 lbs and has maintained this all of these years. She can eat a great deal of food but she always has diarrhea. Now she has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home. It is so sad! Now how did I get here from where I started? Who knows?
Well gonna run! Take care all and of course I will post as soon as I hear a peep!
