Looking for Tampa RV park
My hubbie and I are full time RVers. I am 59 and 2 years WLS post op and PS surgery having lost 170lbs. We normally stay at military RV parks, but find we can't get into one near Tampa/St. Pete's. I would so appreciate any responses and recommendations on local RV parks where we can spend most of Feb. Thanks for your help. We live full time in a 40 foot 5th wheel and we are on a limited income as my husband is a 100 % disabled veteran. I left the VA in March so we could live our high school dream of seeing the country and spending our lives together. Sure miss our children and Gkids, but John and I are enjoying our lives and the people we meet. Our experiences at the military campgrounds have been fabulous. We have also had good times at KOA's, but today we were refused reservations due to our dog, Diablo, too big for the campground. My hubbie is upset, but I reminded him that people have different rules they abide by. Our Diablo is a marvelous dog, does not speak, or look for or cause trouble. So we need some ideas on reasonable cost RV parks. Thanks so much.

330/160 -170 lbs, healthier, happier, sexier, and so thankful for this wonderous journey.
Hi Monica,
I don't have a price but here is a link to Robert's Mobile Home and RV Resort and it has a fee schedule I think. http://www.robertsrv.com/siteplan.html I hope this helps.
Enjoy,

Hi Monica- We also have a 5th wheel but we just go on weekends and such. We've gone to Tampa several times to "camp" as we call it. We've stayed at Hillsborough River State Park. We love that park. I think the max is only 14 days. I cannot remember the other parks name we stayed at but it's only about 3 miles from the State Park going West. That is a very nice park as well. They always have spots available. There are many permanent residents there. Many people have dogs. I am not sure if they had a size max or not. The best part was we belonged to Passport America and they took it to our surprise. We only paid $14.00/night for full hook up with the discount. We were there in December. It was cheaper than the State Park. I will try to find the name and post it for you, if your interested.
