Feeling Alot Better

Well first I want to thank all those who prayed for me while I was in the hospital. Just a short rundown. Had surgery on Monday the 15th Jan. Went home on Thurday at about 4pm. I thought I might have to stay till Friday because the doctor thought he saw a stricture on the test. So my final test repeated on Thursday at noon shown there were no stricture and he asked me if I wanted to go home, of course I said yes and after the nurses unhooked my IV's and Cath. I was a free man. My first two days at home were alittle rough. The gas in my belly just would go out. Well Thurday and Friday slowly but surely I got rid of most the gas. Saturday & Sunday feeling alot better. Now today, I am feeling more like my old self. I get my staples out Wednesday. Cruising along on the great journey, thanks again! Hugh

Hugh, Glad to to hear you're safely on the losing side and on the mend. Remember to walk, walk, walk, and sip, sip, sip! Good luck and hang on - you're in for a wild ride but it is soooo worth it!! Vickie J.
