I went in today for my referral. I was so scared! Everything went so smooth it was crazy. I was worried I would be late for work because it usually takes a long time to get back to see the docs on base.(we are military) I had prayed that if God wanted me to do this to just let everything go smoothly. It was like butter. I was in and out, got my referrel, and made it to work ten minutes early. How bout that for prayer!!! My pcp was very supportive. I just wanted to thank everyone for your support and prayers. I am so excited, I can't wait to start my new life!
I have tricare prime for insurance because I am retired military. They first denied my request because they stated I only had a weight problem and they require some type of respitory problem. So I decided to go get a sleep study and found out I had Sleep Apnea so I appealed and it was approved real fast. I had my gastric bypass surgery last Monday jan 15th. Got home yesterday. Althought I had a few bad days in the hospital I feel great now that I am home. Best of luck to you! Hugh
