Lap Band Surgeons

Hi, I'm new here. I live in Brooksville FL. I am looking for a Lapband surgeon that will accept my insurance, if I get approval from my insurance. My insurance is Medi-Pass. I am on Medi-Pass cuz of medical disabilities caused mainly from being overweight for many years ( Arthritis, degenerative disk, and heart disease.) I so much would love to be able to get back into the mainstream of life! Can anyone help me? :-)

Hi there Debra! I cannot say anything about the insurance per se, but I wish you luck in finding someone they do cover! I've had my band since October of last year, and I LOVE it! My surgeon was Dr. Murr in Tampa (a Center of Bariatric Excellence) Best of luck in finding a surgeon- keep me posted ok? Jo
