Has anyone had any luck with BCBS Florida approving their surgery recenlty?

I have Highmark BCBS of Florida and had them fax me policy G-24 which outlined all the criteria for WLS. That was 2006, not sure if there were any changes in 2007. But you have to be sure your individual policy includes it's coverage. Sarah

I have BCBS Florida : ) and I had mine approved Nov 28, 2006. . . . had the surgery Oct 10, 2006. I got the surgical code from my surgeons office then called customer svc. for BCBS and they told me what the requirements. Then I just went down the checklist and completed them.
