ANY FILL DR.IN JAX FOR MEXICO SURGERY...

Hi everybody, I had my surgery in July 06, I have been using Dr. Jessee in tampa for fills ($400. Per fill in office $750. Under fluro) she is great but 4 hours away anybody no someone closer what does fills for lap bands done in mexico. Thanks all, angel

Hi Angel: Nice to see a post from you. And I was worried this would be a problem after you were banded out of town. I know that my surgeon will not do your fills (Dr. Cywes). Dr. Webb (near Memorial Hospital) may do it for you. I'd certainly give him a call. And there are now 2 surgeon's at St. Vincent's who do the surgery. I've heard that one would not take patients banded in Mexico but I don't know about the other one. They had an ad in Sunday's Times Union so you might want to check that avenue as well. Dr. Jawad has just opened a satellite office in Mandarin and they are only open on Wednesday (at the moment) so you might want to check thru his Ocala office and see how to get in touch with the Mandarin office and whether or not they will do the fills. Tampa is a long way to go. Is Ocala any closer or what about Gainesville? There's also a bariatric hospital in Brunswick now. Might that be a thought? Well, I was certainly happy to see your post and I hope you're going well in your weight loss. If you don't have a support group, remember we're still here and metting on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. kathy with fill centers is great. she is higly skilled. i drive 1.5 hours to see her and it is totally worth it. she is in st pete, but worth the drive. if you schedule with fill center tell them ruben colon sent you, they have a referal program.
