I am new at posting and really need some support. I have been experiencing gas pains (I think) for some time now and don't know what to do. I saw my surgeon and he set me up for GI workup and everything was good. It must be what I'm eating but I don't know what. Does anyone out there experience this? It is really uncomfortable.

Hi Linda, Where are the pains? When do you have the pain? Do you still have your gallbladder? Do you have the pain after eating/drinking dairy? My best advice without knowing the above would be to keep a log of the pain. Does it happen after you eat? If so, what did you eat? Etc. Patterns will start to emerge, hopefully, that can help both you and your surgeon to pinpoint a cause. HTH, Kristen

I agree with Kristen. For the longest time I thought my pain was gas, and it was my gallbladder. Its very painful, and it comes and goes, and it can get worse. Did doc check for gallstones? let us know, merry christmas blessings, Tami

Linda - I'm with Tami and Kristen - When I had gallbladder issues they pain mimiced chest pains and there wasn't an antacid out there that would alleviate it. Journal your food intake and document when you have these "gas" pains. Try to see if there is a trend i.e. carbs, spicy food, etc.... Good luck and I hope things work themselves out! Barbi
