Home From Surgery

I arrived home yesterday from surgery. My surgery was on Thursday and everything went well. The odd thing is, I am feeling kind of hungry. At least I think it is hunger pains. I have been drinking every 15 minutes or so and do the sf soft clear liquids. I must say I am looking forward to mash potatoes and tuna next week. I don't regret having the surgery at all. I now realize how much food consumed my life. Very strange!! I have been up and moving around, but I am still in bed more. I think the reason may be is right before I left the hospital, my monthly friend came for a visit. Mine are TERRIBLE. My cramping and back hurt worst now then they did after surgery. Heating pad is the only think I know to help it. Well that is all for now. I will keep everyone posted! I was glad to read about those on the puree stage, I am not so sure about the word puree either. Talk to everyone soon.

Kim, It will get better each day. You need to rest along with moving around when you feel up to it. It will be all worth it in the long run. Just came back from my 1-month check up and I'm down 28 lbs. For me that's great. This site is great to get advise and chat. Happy Holidays!!!
