first op..next tuesday

i have my first opt with muhammad in ocala fl does anyone got any advice for me or has anyone had him as a doctor..and what happens at the first one

Hi Steve, Are you talking about Dr. Jawad in Ocala?? If so you are in very good hands. He is a wonderful doctor. He performed both of my WLS and did my husbands lapband. As far as what happens at the first one it depends on exactly what kind of appointment you are talking about. Is it a consultation, the seminar, or are you meeting with him personally?? well im going through the department of vocational rehab and they are sending me there tuesday..they said it starts as a group then takes each person by themselves

Yes the first step is usually the consultation and that's when they give you all your orders for the tests that need to be done before surgery. Gall bladder ultrasound, blood work, psych evaluation and nutrition evaluation. It's sort of a looooooooong day, but so worth it!!
