Yanselli, do you acttually live in Tampa or in The Tampa Bay area? As there are several good Surgeon's who do the Lap-Banding. The two Surgeon's in the area who have been designated so far with the "Center of Excellence" award are Dr.Murr at Tampa General and Dr.Rehnke at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St.Petersburg. But unless you have Medicare directly this Award is not nessacary. And thus there are other Surgeon's to choose from. Check on here under Surgeon's for other listings to continue your Journey to receiving your Lap Band.

I just wanted to add that you should look into a new surgeon. I do hope you get your procedure done soon, as I am sure its frustrating with this delay.Good luck!
