Need Help Locating someone
Hello All,
I am a professional MSW, LSW in Pennsylvania. I am considering getting into private counsel for WLS patients both one on one and group. I am a WLS patient my surgery was January 2006. This has been an awesome journey for me. I want to give back to my community through my skills as both a therapist and group facilitator. I discussed my thought with my surgeon and nurse practitioner and was given Melanie Moorhouse's name as someone who is already specicalizing in this field. I am trying to locate Melanie Moorhouse - she is in florida, has her own private practice. She allows psych professions to come and observe/train for a week.
Thank you in advance for any information you might be able to suppy to me.

Gene, you may also think about and becoming an OH Support Group Leader through the ObesityHelp Leadership Program. I finished it and am starting a OH Support Group in Janruary of 2007 at the Clearwater YMCA in Florida. Three months Post-Op I got the feeling of wanting to return to others what I have learned plus what has been given to me and thoughts of Personal & Group Training has entered my mind too.
You may also want to Celeste Monin-Ormond Beach, FL., who has set up her profession in Personal Coaching & Training. She's also an OH Leader and is featured on the Current Issue of the OH Magazine of which my short story is also in the same issue, Spotlight On Success.
