Need recomendations for Plastics?

It will be a year November 29th since I had my Lap Gastric bypass and I am now looking into having a tummy tuck done. Any one have a great plastics surgeon they used in the Tampa area that they would recommend?

HI Gail.....I just to let you know that although you may be ready to have a tummy tuck...it is best to wait til you reach the 2yr mark. You may continue to lose more weight til about the 2nd year mark and if you do the tummy tuck to early you will then have more skin dropping even though it may not be significant as the first time. A person in our support group did it at the 1yr mark and lost more weight and though it was difficult to come up with the money - she got it done again...and as always those things are so painful and draining. So she always recommend to wait til the 2nd year mark - that is why I suggest you wait and do it once you have stabilized. The other thing is in Ocala there is a wonderful PS surgeon called Dr. Najir and he does all kinds of plastics. Best of luck to you.

I would recommend Dr. Eberboch. His specialty is folks who have had weight loss surgery. His office is in Hudson, so not too far away. His office number is 727-868-4490. Good Luck

I would ask your surgeon for recommendations. He has probably seen the work of several plastic surgeons in the area, so he would be a great one to know who does the best job. He will also know which plastic surgeons have the specialized knowledge of working with post-op bariatric patients. Red
