Hello, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good primary care physician in Jacksonville, fl. I just recently moved to the Jacksonville area and would like to have the wls. Thanks

I go to Dr Howard Green on Beach Blvd just west of Kernan. He is part of The Doctor's Center. They have several locations through out Jacksonville. There is a WLS doctor behind Memorial hospital called Yasrebi. I just had plastic surgery and Memorial Hospital has the WLS surgeries there so I had confidence the hospital and staff knew what to do with me during my last stay. I would caution you not to go to Shands Hospital for any reason. I was an emergency situation there last summer and they had no idea what to do for me.

Welcome to Jax!!! Martha's correct, don't go to Shands in an emergency! They don't have a clue what to do for WLS patients...I had better luck at Baptist. Hi Martha!!!!!! I missed you...I just got married, then had my first plastic surgery. I had my thighs and arms done. I'm 2 weeks post-op...and sore!!!
