I don't too often try and endorse any specific websites, but there is one that I have been on for a while now, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT WITH ALL MY HEART for anyone in our shoes!!!

George Stella and his wife Rachel are 5-star chefs, who have adopted SO MANY amazing recipes for a low carb sugar-free lifestyle. Things like FRITTERS, CAKES, CORNBREAD, and then of course Chicken Marsala, Onion Rings - - all kinds of amazing foods which are incredibly LOW IN CARB and SUGAR FREE!!
Wow - and when you watch their videos and read how they make these things, I never imagined they would be so simple!
Part of my personal maintenance program is to really CUT DOWN the carbs more than anything. I still eat them of course (a lot from tons of fresh veggies), but I personally have chosen NOT to ever eat real sugars of any kind (natural or man-made), starches, white breads and such. I get my carbs from whole-grains and veggies. But, with this website, I am finally eating CORNBREAD and FRITTERS! WOO HOOOO!!
And, I can't believe how good some of their things taste! You could serve these dishes as part of your regular life for the whole family - and they are just DELICIOUS AND AMAZING! And, with the HOLIDAYS coming, I want all the good taste that I can get! LOL.....
I truly do attribute my own success and maintenance (below goal now for almost a year and a half!) to a low carb sugar free lifestyle. NOT carb-free, just the RIGHT KINDS of carbs mind you!
Now, a lot of these foods are NOT low in calorie. They are higher in calories and fat, but super-high in Protein and incredibly low in carbs and sugar free. So, you still want to watch portions. But, with our surgeries, I don't believe tha****ching the portions is a problem LOLLL....
Anyway, just thought I would pass this on. I believe that ANYTHING that can help us should be shared with everyone!

Hey Michael,
I've seen his show on TV and he does make some amazing things. I look forward to checking out his website. Thanks for sharing. Hope all is well with you. I have found that if I eat starchy carbs I immediately gain weight, so to find some alternatives is great. Like you it is mostly protein and fresh veggies. I find I feel better if I stick to this regimen also.
