24 hour bug

I would like to know if having a 24 hour stomach bug (vomiting and diareah) effects by-pass patients (1 year out) any differently. Can it be more severe? Last longer? No difference? Thank you

I wouldn't know but would suggest contacting your Primary & Surgeon first thing Monday morning if you think you have one.

Mine did not last longer, but I was tired and needed to get rehydrated. Watch the amount of time, sip on gateraide and if things don't calm down, your doc will have to know because we dehydrate easily. The vomiting is tough on our pouch when it is repeated, but you already know that. Hope you are ok! blessings, Tami
