TAILBONE PAIN
Welcome to one of the new things that happen post operatively...not too many people complain about it but I do! I've been feeling it for a year especially when the chairs are wooden or hard plastic. I have to shift from cheek to cheek and sometimes have to stand up cause I can't stand the pain...but they say it goes away (mine hasn't fully yet). Hopefully it will get better for you.
Get a Bigger Foamier Pillow. Out butts are one of the first muscle that seem to lose fat first and were used to having Fluffy Butts not Boney Butts. When it hurts get up and walk around till it stops then you can sit again for a bit. It's sorta our bodies know we did something so it's a automatic alarm telling you to get moving. LOL.
YES!!! My tailbone hurts too! Especially if I'm sitting on a bench or something hard. Even if I'm sitting back in my recliner for a while (which isn't that often since I can't sit still these days with all this energy). Last year my tailbone was the most well-hidden bone in my body
I used to enter a room looking for the sturdiest chair to sit in, now I look for the softest!
Sorry you are experiencing the discomfort. I hope you feel better soon. Jeanne
