Does anyone know anything about DR. Urizar?

I work for Department of Health. He's been disciplined by the state of Florida. I would get a copy of his disciplinary order before you make any decisions. What are the reviews on OH under Surgeons of him?

I didn't see him listed.

Just the point that their not listed and the other post said he's been disciplend by the State of Florida. Is that enough to say Look at other Options?

actually he is listed and there were like 6 people that had thier surgery with him. However none of thier profiles had been updated in a long time and when I emailed them asking for info I got no repilies. The bad thing is he is the ONLY doctor in florida that will take medicaid so I havent go much of a choice. I dont know what to do now. Its kinda scary to know he's been disciplined. I mean thats not cool at all. Just when I thought my prayers were answered. Maybe its not mneant to be for me. It sure isnt fair. Mary B

Under Insurance there are reviews of Medicaid Petient who used the following docoter mine is Dr.Rehnke in St.Petersburg at the Palms of Pasadena. He still takes Medicaid. Do you have straight Medicaid or a supplement like Medipass too? Their listed there you just need to research more.

I have medipass, and I have called Dr Rehnke's office. They accept medicaid IF you live within a 100 mile radius. Im too far away. Believe me, Ive been trying to get wls for 5 years. Ive called Everybody...including the medicaid office. They gave me two surgeons and siad they are the only ones that take medicaid. I went to Dr. Cox first, in Ft Lauderdale , did all the pre-op stuff, got approved...and then his office tells me the HOspital will no longer take mediciad for wls. So my only other choice is DR Urizar. Its crazy. And its making me crazy!!
