Health Update - Qbandiva
Well it's been a rough month for me - I'm down but not out. At the beginning of the month I fell down a flight of stairs at my brother house - turns out I have been getting dizzy quite a bit lately.
Then on the 20th as I was going to bed I found my navel to be bleeding and puss coming out - I went to the er - they did a ctscan and released me. I called Dr Rosenthal who wanted to see me in Weston (I live in Naples -1.5 hrs away) so I went, little did I know he was going to admit me. Turns out I had cellulitis and the infection had spread to my blood. OK 2 days massive IV Antibotic infusions later I'm released only to feel worse by Monday so I called my local dr who upon examining me referred me over to a general surgeon (Dr Lamon) because my lymph nodes didn't feel right. Dr Lamon was great in reviewing my past history and cut to the chase he told me he did not like the way the lymph nodes felt, the lack of pain considering I had an infection going on and the chills, sweats and overall feeling of fatigue/malise. He operated on Thursday 28th and removed one for biopsy. I'm home and waiting to hear if theyn can rule out lymphoma.
Folks - the one thing I can say is LISTEN to your body - don't assume everything post surgery is related to the WLS. Seems to me I've been dealing with alot of this symptoms for a fewmonths now and it's all hit a head.
Say a prayer for me if you would.

You will be in my prayers. I've been following your posts for a while, and hate to see you going thru so much! Seems like just when you start feeling better, something happens again! I'm glad to see you get to your doctors, some people hesitate and then that's bad! You hang in there!!! Hang tough and you'll be feeling better real soon I'm sure!!! Keep us posted!! Hugs from Miami, Jeanne

You guys are my OH Family! It's nice to know that I can post and someone reads and acknowledges the set backs. I am SOOOOO trying to stay positive because with out that I think recovery is somewhat slowed down.
Still feeling crappy - but waiting for the dr to let me know what's what.
Thank you all for being so sweet and caring!
God Bless you all!
