New to this Message Board -- Hi!

Hi, I'm in Miami, FL... I didn't know this forum existed! I'm in the pre-op testing process -- I've been approved by my health insurance and once I undergo an endoscopy on Thursday, I'll be ready to get my surgery date... Yeah! I've never been so excited about getting a tube down my throat as I am about this endoscopy! I'll be having RNY (lap) at Cleveland Clinic Weston with Dr. Samuel Szomstein. Everyone at the Clinic has been very nice, helpful, and just have made this process go by as quickly and easily as possible. The hard part comes next! If anyone has any suggestions or comments, I welcome one and all. Regards, Merci.

Hi, I am 5 weeks post op. I had surgery with Dr Rosenthal, who is Dr. Szomstein's associate at Cleveland Clinic in Weston. the experience was fine and I came through with flying colors. You will do fine! Before you know it the day will be here. Follow their advice to the letter especially the preop preparation diet. It makes a huge difference.
