Septisemia - what now!!!
Barbi,
I am so sorry that you have gotten kicked in the teeth like this. Has the doctor determined if the septicemia is a result of your incision? I have had septicemia twice but both times it was from cellulitis in my left leg. I am just glad that you caught it quickly and are being treated for it.
I had just read your updates on your profile last night and wanted to send you an email. You are sure looking wondefful!
Just hang in there lady it will get better soon! I am thinking about you!
Kathy
you need to follow what the docs said, take your antibiotics and rest. septicemia is an infection in the blood. It can be serious, and you must have had an abcess or something in your abdomen. Praise God they caught it now. Please be careful, and allow your body to heal. I am sure you are tired physically too.
keep us posted. May God's hand of healing be upon you.May His wisdom rest upon your doctor and those watching over your infection. In Jesus' name,Amen
blessings, Tami
My goodness, I'm so sorry!! I hope that you will feel better soon and this will only be a small bump on the road. I just read your profile and you're truly incredible! I'll be having surgery at Cleveland Clinic with Dr. Szomstein sometime in October.
Un abrazo y que te sientas mejor muy pronto,
Merci.
Thank you everyone for your concern and prayers. I'm scared. I just got back from another dr since we can't seem to get to the bottom of this. I have to have a lymph node removed and biopied. This is happening Thursday. Needless to say, I'm tense, but I have put myself in God's hands and I've asked for his blessing through this process.
There is a possibility of it being Lymphoma.
Merci - Dr Szmonstein is a cutie - he will take good care of you!
God Bless you all!
Remember - this is just a bump on the path of recovery!
Barbi
