How have you dealt with hair loss? I didn't think it would bother me, but my hair was thin to start with. Now you can see through it. How long does this last? Has anyone gone bald?

Most guys don't give a hoot about going bald. But I do and as soon a few strands falling out as it was suggested to many others I started taking 1000mg of Biotin & 50mg of Zinc. Do not go over 50mg with Zinc as zinc in high dosage will burn the insides of your stomach, outwardly. Good Luck.

Angie, How is your protein intake? Be sure you're getting enough protien. My nutritionist suggested I take Biotin & Zinc which did seem to help. I had some hair loss but not a great deal. It began at about 3-5 months post-op and seemed to taper off at about 9-12 months post-op. Vickie J.

Hi Angie I know just what you are saying, I was feeling all the same. I started at 3 months and it slowed down after 3-4 months. No I did not go bald but my hair thinned alot. Its better now and growing back. I used the Biotin & Zinc too but also go the Nioxin shampoo, its for thinning hair. Trust me/us it will stop and get better. Its just part of the process. TAKE CARE Priscilla

Hi Angie: My hair is getting really thin also. I'm 3 months post-op. Yesterday I got a hair cut kinda short. And that helps a little bit. I started taking Biotin 1000 mg to tell you the truth I don't think it help me a lot I have been taking Biotin since one month post op. I true believe on your protein intake. My protein intake is so-so I have a blockage again so I try my best to have protein shakes and try to eat as much as my pouch aloud me, but before I got my second blockage I was doing really good. Once the protein intake when down my hair started to fall. My Endoscopy is this coming Wednesday. Looking forward so I can eat my 2 oz of food again. Good luck to you and keep up the good work.

Angie I never lost anything other than normal when I was my hair. Protein and vitamins really help this and for me a strong "healtt hair, nails and skin" by andrew lessman, no junk in vits and suppplements just pure ingred of what you are taking. His Bioitin qhich is Healthy hair Nails and Skin, contains Biotin mega dose the B's and some C. Take a look he is online Yourprocapslabs.com, cNO fillers or colors just great vitamins. I never lost hair, just got thicker and my skin is in excellent condition. Does wonders for you nails...you buddy is what you put it in...those cheao one a dat or centrum is definetly the way to go is you care about you care about what you put in you body. Trust me I don;t work for Lessman but have been taking his vits and minerals well over 26 yrs. Just for for thought.
