im freakin out!!!
Alexa,
Plastics is more frightening than wls for many b/c it is totally elective. We know we NEED wls to improve our health but for many plastics is more of an athestic thing than a health thing.
I'm not sure what plastics you're having, I assume a TT or Panniectomy. I had a LBL and I can tell you it really wasn't that painful. Don't get me wrong, the first few days weren't fun, but the pain is very managable with drugs. By the time I left the hosptial I could have done without pain meds most of the time. I only took them at bedtime to help me sleep and within a few days I stopped taking even that much.
Good luck and don't freak yourself out! You'll be fine and you'll be glad you did it once it is over.

Im sure eveything will be fine and like stated before GOOD DRUGS. Enjoy those lol. When i had my daughter i was scared to death about the delivery, bad dreams even horrible day dreams. But my worst fear happened they had me in for a c-section after 12 1/2 hours of labor and only dialated 4 cent. that sucked. I was sooo scared. But after it was all done it was great. well anyways I healed up wonderfully and it was so worth it. And i know your scared but it will be all worth it in the end right?
Alexa,
I think I told you the worse thing about the surgery was not pain at all. I didn't take any pain meds but the day I had surgery. I went home the following afternoon. The one thing I was inconvienenced over was having to lay on my hips only. I had the circumference body lift.
I had my breast reduction/lift yesterday, came home a few hours later and only had morphene once in recovery. They did however give me a script for dilaudid, I filled it but have not taken one as yet.
Sending you comfort hugs!
