U S BARIATRIC CONVENTION FT. LAUDERDALE

I spent last weekend at the U S Bariatric convention in Ft. Lauderdale and it was WONDERFUL!! I got so much out of it, met some very nice people, and it was just great being with people who came from the same background as me ''OBESITY". One piece of advice I got from somebody there was to take Papaya Enzymes chewables (found at GNC) after a meal if you feel it's getting stuck, it helps with digestion. Well, as soon as I got home I bought some and it really does work, not that I'm going to eat quickly so that I have a way out, but it's good to know they help if I do. If anyone out there is reading this and went to the convention last weekend, please let me know how u liked it. By the way, it was at the Westin Hotel, and they have the BEST BEDS EVER - they are called heavenly beds. Best regards to everyone out there, pre-op, post-op and strugglers. Joanne

It was gr8, I got a lot out of it and can't wait to go to it again next year. I didn't make it to this one as it was a choice of this one or the OH Conference. I wished they had posted the cost & schedule before the OH's I would've went to this one. But were hoping everyone will respnd to my earlier posting on the 2007 Oh Conference as we've been giver the Reins to plan next years Conference to be held in Tampa Bay. We're going to open all Bariatric Associates who will help Sponsor next years event not just one Bariatric Surgeon & one Plastic Surgeon, throughout Florida.
