Kim, Congratulations you've done a lot to get here to your Wishing Moment.
Will you do us a big favorite now so not only us now but to INSPIRE those who might read your profile. Will you return to your profile and totally tell others your whole story the down negative times to the now positive times and what you've gone through? I for one even though I have my own story would really like to know yours to be able to give hope to those who haven't even thought of Weight Loss Surgery.
Enjoy these next few days as next week your life is about to change to a better & lighter, healthier you.
Keep Positive & we'll see you on the Losers Train following your Journey to Meltsville.
Mike
Congratulations Kim! I can't believe you have a date so quickly!
Now, I don't want to rain on your parade but having personal experience with insurance company saying "Yes, you're approved." on the phone, only to find out the claim had not even been processed yet, I would advise you to ask to see the actual approval letter. Without the acutal approval document on file with your surgeon & hospital, the insurance co. does NOT have to cover your expenses. They can always fax the letter to your doc & hospital, but my ins. (BCBS) will not fax anything, everything has to come snail mail. I know you don't want to lose your date after all this time waiting, but I would hate to see you have surgery on Monday only to find out that the person who told you that you had been approved was mistaken. I hope I'm totally wrong, but it pays to double check and be sure before proceeding.
Good luck & see you on the losing side soon!
