OK We've gotten the Go Ahead to Plan the 2007 OH Conference

Sent: Tuesday, September 19, 2006 9:04 AM To: Monica Subject: 2007 Florida's OH Conference Ok, well here's a suggestion for you/OH to consider: How about to still make these Events an OH Conference with you overseeing the scheduling but also to please the States attendees. Just like other Speakers you set a fee you require plus a fee for making it a OH Event, Let the States Local group do ALL of the work. From finding Sponsors, a place to hold the Conference, the Speakers, Vendors and other side events. You've gotten the ball rolling, now let us, like OH Leaders starting new Support Groups, start planning the Conferences too. I was in the Concert & Record Promotion Business. This is what I thought was going to happen. Let me help as my next step in my desire to help others learn & succeed with Weight Loss Surgeries. If it's a flop it's totally on ME. Try this for next year 2007 in Florida. The extra raised Sponsor monies go to a charity, such as Walk from Obesity, OAC, etc., if it's a success. Which I'm 100% sure it will be. Then it spreads to other events. If not, you keep things the way they are. I hear it locally in support groups and on other not sanctioned support boards that Post-opters are not happy and thus not returning. What are people writing in the reviews at the end of the conferences? Let me help tweak the conferences up to where they will be media coverage events to grow to a National Level. No charge for my services or those others who will help me now. To include all Bariatric Centers, Doctors, Surgeons, Vendors, etc. in each state and nationally. Not just a few locals doctors. I feel this is my calling. With the OH and your help or to go it alone as they've done in the Richmond, Va. area. The Walk from Obesity is in 10 days. Will we work together for the future or just leave it the way you've been running it? It has work very well. I am willing to give a try there in Fl - I have handled all of the monies through ObesityHelp and been responsible for all of the bills. I need to be keep in the loop on major decisions and the educational part of the conference must be kept.
