Hi Ya'll!!!!

Hello everyone! I have been MIA for a couple of months again but all the chaos and problems with my little grandbabies is finally over with and I am back at home in Fl. I have missed talking to you guys but had to start keeping earlier hours when I was babysitting my little Noah. He flat wore his granny out every day! It is good to see lots of old faces well let me rephrase that good to see lots of Familiar faces! Hi Vickie, Tami, Jan, Sarah Margaret, Barbi, Michael, Ruth. Hope I didn't miss anyone but I probably did. Nice to see plenty of new faces too! Where am I on my journey? I had to put it on hold while we were dealing with legal and medical issues with my grandsons. Remember I had to get under 500lbs to have a heart cath done before my cardiologist would clear me...Well today I weighed in at 502. I am almost there! I talked to the surgeons office today and I have to go get a new referral for them and then they will set up the cath. Have an appt. for that on Thursday (getting the referral and discussing some abnormal labs from last week). I have lost 63 lbs. from my high weight. I am beginning to get excited and thinking that this just may happen after all! I want to thank all of you who have been supportive of me and my weight loss efforts along the way. THANK YOU!!!! I will keep you informed about where I go from here. I am not planning on anymore prolonged absences from the board for a while. You all are looking wonderful! I am proud of all that you have accomplished! Kathy

Hi Ruth Yes I am still planning to go to Dr. Overcash. I really do trust him and what's more I like him. You are looking great Ms. Ruth! Hey Kathy!!! Those 2lbs will be gone in no time flat!!! Yea for you!!! I've just fighting with BCBS...plan on submitting my appeal next week!!! And boy is it good!!! Sarah

Hi there Ms. Vickie, How are you? Is your son's wedding past or is that still to come? I have missed coming in here but man was I tired out from that little guy. I don't know how I raised all the children that I raised. I guess youth has it's advantages huh? I was really a bit suprised that I hadn't gained any weight l during our family crisis that lasted from March until about 2 weeks ago. because I am such an emotional eater. But Thank God I didn't! My appt. went well today and I am just waiting on the referral office to get that referral ready. Thank you for the kind welcome back! Kathy

Kathy, You have a great memory! My son's wedding is Oct. 14. I'm leaving for NC on Tuesday so I can be there for some of the pre-wedding festivities. I'll be up there for over 3 weeks, then back home for 10 days, then heading to Hollywood, FL and Dr. Shuster for my 3rd plastic surgery. Glad you had a good report today! Vickie J.
