HELP SWALLOWED MINT

I was eating a breath mint like a life saver sized one .. I always crunch them up but I accidentally swallowed it. I am getting air okay I just feel it in my throat I am terrified it will not go down all the way. I AM PANICKED!

Kellie, have you've made contact with any Surgeons in the Tampa Bay area yet? If so call them. I can only suggest sitting or laying down and relaxing while it desolves in there or try sipping slowly then trying to vomit it to dislodge it. Was it Sugar Free? Hello! Well I made it through my crazy mint episode! My PC crashed right after so I was just messed up all the way around. The mint finally went down I was just completely panicked for about 2 hrs. It was very painful. It was sugar free which everything I eat is but still just the fact I could feel it sitting there then worried it would get stuck in there some way some how! LOL I did give the mints to my husband though!
