Hi Karyn, I am near Pompano Beach (thats where I work), and I am living in the Coral Springs area, when I drive under the Interstate bridge near my house it says COral Gables exit 5 1/2 miles. I drove down to Miami yesterday on A1A. It is much longer than going the interstate though. Will you have access to internet??

yes, I will have access to the internet ... I'm leaving Chicago tonight and will get to Miami about 10:30 and I'm leaving back to Chicago Thursday about 6pm ... I'm not sure exactly what my schedule will be like (I'm there for work), but I'd love to meet up if there's any opportunity!! Karyn

Teresa--Congratulations on taking the first major step. I am soooo happy for you. I know the situation going on with your oldest has to be breaking your heart. As a mom I can so relate to what you are going through. It is a tough age -they are so Ego-centric and they always think they are all grown up. I am quite confident she will eventually understand. Just a little sidenote--remember that YOU are the parent and sometimes parents have to make decisions that kids don't like--but tough--that is what being a parent is. {{Hugs}} to you Teresa and I look forward to watching you spread your wings.
