Had first postop appt today, 9 days out and I lost...

15 pounds exactly!! I am so excited. I made conscious decision not to weigh myself at home in the early stages, so I had no idea what it was going to be. I'm motivated now!! Betty

Hi Betty, That is great, congratulations it is so exciting. I know I am trying to go by just all the different Dr.'s scales. The only problem with that is they all weigh a little different. I hate the electronic scales because I have a tremor so I shake all the time so the scale can never decide on a number, so everyone just guesses and it is like a 10lb range (it is frustrating). However, I had an appt yesterday and it was a regular old scale and it said I was down 29lbs since day of surgery. Keep up the great work, I know I am really starting to feel better and don't regret doing this at all. Patty
