Everthing I eat making me sick.....

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has this problem. I had my surgery on 2/5/05. For some odd reason everything is making me sick to my stomach, like I am going to throw up. This started about 1-2 months ago. I thought maybe I was prego but I had the doctor do a test and I was not. Whether I am now I don't know yet but for some odd reason whatever I eat makes me feel totally sick. Any help? Candice

Candice, I have felt the same way the last 4 weeks. I had a scheduled blood visit to my hemotologist on Fri (whom I see every 3 mons) and within an hour I found out sll my numbers were severely low. Ferritin came back yesterday and today I had the first of 9 iron infusions. My ferritin was so low it was not able to be measured. This causes tiredness, nausea, unable to eat and in fact I vomited several times and I am hungry but just can't eat. This condition started from my childhood so I can't blame it on RNY or my present diet. I had such nausea that I have been taking Zofran for it. Have you had any follow-up blood work or see your surgeon? I had an appt. with my surgeon I had to cancel last week due to expected hurricane so he doesn't know about this. I sure hope the iron starts to help as I am scheduled for breast lift on 22nd. This also happened in March and I had an allergic reaction to the iron so we are trying a new one...I didn't get hives but spent 6 hours at the cancer clinic getting the IV. ~Ginny I would call the Dr. if I was you though I didn't follow my own advise, luckily I had a scheduled visit.
