Having Problems

I'm having problems with getting up the money $800.00 for the nutirion and the psy. If anyone knows or can help me find a cheaper Dr's, I would reallyappreciate it alot. Because I'm really ready to be happy and feell good again. Thanks, Trena

Hello, I see on your profile you have United Healthcare...Isnt that covered on your ins? When I had United they had a behavoir health hotline to call. I dont have U.H. anymore but I have Aetna, which is way worse than U.H. & my psyc dr was covered all but my $10 co pay and my nut. was covered 100% because my Primary DR wrote me a referral for "Obesity" . & with that wording it was totally covered. When I 1st called my ins, I was told neither were covered, but things change with a DR referral... so ask your primary & see what he can do for you. Good Luck

I know I understand. I started my whole process in January of 2006. I have been denied 3 times now. ( I had a emergency & had to spend the $400 I had saved up for my up front sergeon fee) Now I may get approval on my next try & I'm struggling to save that $400 back up again. So I will be heartbroken if money stands in the way of my WLS now. I did what I had to & got ins. to pay for everything possible to keep expenses low....we pay enough a month for that..LOL Good Luck Trene

Hey Trena, I was looking at all the post and ran by yours. I looked at the insurance above and looked at some others who had your insurance. Try looking up the numbers for these doctors. Dr. rosenthal was the lastest one at Clevland clinic. They have their own pych and nutritionist call and get an appointment. They are the bomb. Robert T.
