Can u believe this antother hurricane out there!!! I live where we got 2 in a row last year.I really hope it goes back out to the ocean towards nobody !!! ugh...sigh ~Laura~

he he he.....i'm bad too! i hope and pray that this hurricane isn't too strong (1 or 2 is fine), but i really don't mind having to take a "weather day" from work. only problem is, is that it looks as though it will hit me (i'm in the tampa bay area) on thursday.......which is my day off anyway!!

Yea.. mine is Friday. so not too much time off, though Labor day weekend is that weekend too!! It should make for a interesting Beginning of September!

Well, at least the season had been quiet up until now. I'm in Miami and can actually see the turnpike from my balcony. The keys are already evacuating tourists, by this time tomorrow it should be quite active on the pike! My boyfriend lives near Tampa and didn't even realize it was heading his way (according to the projected path). I hate hurricane season!!

Good luck to all of you - we're just nearing the peak of the season - I shudder to think!!

I dread it.

For a while it looked like the path would be in our direction but now they show it curving more to the east. I guess once it gets over Cuba we will know more for sure what path it is taking. Betty
