Im no expert but the sign in sheet should have name, a phone number and email address for you to keep in contact with everyone. Topics - depends on your group...are they newbies? Share your experience and let "older" postops do the same - including vital newbie information as well as info that people will ask those first days, which would be vitamins, water/fluid intake, etc. There is nutritional info that you can give and discuss the various different types of operations but one important topic that should not be forgotten is emotional eating. As someone said - what is eating you..what emotional topics can you talk about that people can share that lead them to obesity. It not just as simple as I ate too much. There are triggers that caused that person to be who they became. Just cause you have surgery those things don't disappear they maybe hidden but not disappeared. It's common for people to eat themselves back to obesiy if they don't recognize or ignore the triggers because you can "eat" yourself around any surgery. Also many people become bulimic and anoreix and sabotage their efforts as well in order to never regain the weight and there is nothing wrong with maintaining a healthy attitude and keeping the weight off but many of us tend to go back to the gimmicks to lose weight and get in to NOT eating or purging to lose the weight....this particular kind of topic requires much thought and study as many of us are in denial about the whole thing and it helps to not judge but try to offer hope for that person....so there you go...i hope this helps!!
