Jan in Ocala Update

Hello everyone! It was so nice to hear that someone was looking for me. I've been thin and happy and busy for so long, but I've not forgotten where I came from! I've been at my goal of 120 for several months and wearing a size 4 (sometimes 2!) and I still can't stop from buying pretty shoes!! This will never change, I fear!! I changed jobs a year back and WLS has just taken over my life! I do talks for Dr. Jawad each month and visit his post-ops each week. I'm on the committee in Ocala for our Walk From Obesity and I'm also active in my church. Whew! It's amazing I have any time to myself at all. I went to the ASBS Conference in San Francisco back in June and that was amazing!! I got to meet many of your surgeons while there. I for sure remember meeting Dr. Marema and the doctors from the Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Carrasquilla. Hope you are all doing just GREAT!!!!

Wow!! You're looking great!! I'm glad you took a few minutes from your obviously full life to update us on how you're doing. Sounds like life is good!! Any chance you'll be attending the OH conference in Ft. Lauderdale? I hope so - I'd love to see you in person! Take care & stay in touch! Jan, you look great. Sounds like a busy schedule. I, too, have consistently maintained at 120 pounds for over 1 1/2 years now, wearing 2's and 4's. I've never, ever been able to accomplish a stable weight. I luv it! Congratulations our your work and your health maintenance.... luvitsunnyv

Hi Jan! It was me who was asking about you. As I draw closer to my surgery date I've been reflecting on the people who were helpful along the way, and you were one of the ones who was no nice and helpful to me way back when. Since I hadn't seen you post in what seemed like a long, long time I was just wondering how you were doing. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Sounds like you are a busy, busy woman nowadays!!! WOW! LTNS! So glad you FINALLY updated your pic. You look MAAAHHHVALOUS! Sounds like you are quite the busy bee with all your activites. What a blessing to be able to do so much and not be lugging around excess weight. I got all these replies commenting on my picture. It's funny, the picture is me at one year out and weighing 140. I weigh 120 really!! Check out my profile and some very recent pics are at the bottom that were taken to help advertise the hospital's bariatric program. I'm so glad you are all doing so well. That's what I like to hear!

Jan, you look wonderful, its been a while since I've posted I know we are close in surgery dates. I've done well down 206 lbs I ve met my personal goal of under 200. We have been blessed Nancy
