Prayers and positive thoughts please.....

I am tinkerbell 1964's sister as I have already posted she had her surgery last wens. August 2nd. She is still in the hospital and having a very hard time getting fluids in and keeping them down. They have not gotten to the bottom of what is causing these issues. Also her blood count went kind of low. She is trying to stay upbeat and wants to come home so bad. I can hear the sadness in her voice tonight please every one pray for her and send as many positive thoughts as you can. If anyone would like an address to send a card just email me. Linda, I met your sister Patty at the TGH support group and found her to be a focused and determined young woman. I pray that she will overcome this rough period and that she will recover quickly. Tell her that many people are praying for her and send her (((hugs))). Blessings, GladysS

Linda - I am sorry your sister is having a rough time! I had to stay in the hospital 3 nights instead of the normal two nights. I had to get 2 pints of blood. I didn't realize it at the time but my spleen was nicked during surgery and I was bleeding out the bottom of my speen and it eventually formed a pouch about a month out that hit my diaphram and hurt SOOO bad. My spleen did heal on its own and the pain went away and I have no problems since then! However, with having said all that I just want her to know that we do sometimes have set backs but it is all worth it. I know she will be fine and be home in the blink of an eye. It is hard going through it sometimes but so worth every single thing to feel the way I do now! Please let her know this .. it will get better!!!
