Help... I am stuck!!!

I am one year out. I have been "stuck" for quite a while. Can anyone tell me if the "The Plateau Buster Diet" really helps? If anyone can give me any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!!! Hugs, Jen Lap RNY 07/06/05 309/220/175

Jen, I was hoping to offer some suggestions, BUT I went to read your profile but you've let that slack. I'm finding that if I go back and review my profile it's one place I can see where I've swayed from my program. What are you currently eatting and the Big question is How Much are you consuming? What types of exercising are you doing? Are you using too much weight thus bulking up in muscle? There are many factor's that play into plateaus. Oh and what are you drinking? Please fill out your profile and post new pics so we can see the new you too. Mike

I actually hit a plateau and I did my own thing and it worked really well. I don't know if it would work for anybody else but it might! I decided that my metabolism had probably reset itself again and was getting used to a certain amount of calories and I had formed a very strict eating plan as far as breakfast, lunch and dinner. I started really changing things up.. I am not a huge breakfast person but I would eat a little something at 10 like cheese and a slice of turkey or something then I might eat a super light lunch and then protein shake and maybe legumes or something for dinner. I guess the point is that I just really shook up my routine and some days would just do more protein drinks with light snacks in place of meals then off days would be more a normal eating day. I believe that it just woke my metabolism up and I started dropping the weight again this only lasted about two weeks.
