Hi everyone, I am fairly new to the board. I was required by my insurance (Aetna POSII) to do a 3-month diet and exercise program along with nutrition classes and I am almost finished as of Friday, yipeee! My question is if anyone has been approved through Aetna Insurance and how long did it take? Also I am using Dr. Bruce Brient in Gainesville Florida has anyone here? Thanks so much for the info. Great to be almost done with the 3 month diet!!! I don't know about Aetna, but I know that approval can come as quickly as a day and as long as perhaps 3 weeks. Once approval, surgery can be in a month or so. I'm excited for you! Blessings, Tami

Thanks so much Tami! I have read your profile and you look amazing! I am so nervous about sending all of my info to the insurance co. I have worked so hard these past few months and I think I would just die if I were denied. No really, I own my own cleaning business and I work very hard anyway and to go to physical therapy 3 days a week and to clean 2-3 houses a day, I am just so so tired. But I just have to put it all in Gods hands and what ever will be will be! God Bless, Katina

I have my fingers crossed. I went on the self-pay route because I didnt want to play the disappointment game of insurance. I do not regret it and feel great! I will pray for you! Caren

Hi Katina, Once I filed my lawsuit, two weeks. But ah, that's another story!! Great job on keeping your eye on the ball. Aetna's multidisciplinary program is nothing to sneeze at. Best wishes to you!! Kristen
