Weekend of Wows!!

So, I've had a whole weekend of wows.. and I HAVE to share!! Ok, so on Friday, I went clothes shopping because ... well.. my pants are starting to fall down. I went to Lane Bryant and was very very scared to try anything on... I found out that I am now a 22 in shirts (down from a 2. I am a 22-24 in pants (down from 28 LB stretch or 32 in some). I am a 38 C (down from a 46 C). I wear a size 8 shoe now (8.5 before surgery). Everything surprised me.. I'd put it on, and ... It would fit! I could have went with a smaller size in one of my shirts... and wish I would have now.. but ohwell. The bra surprised me the most.. I have worn a 40 or above as long as I can remember. Yes the 38 was tight, but ... it made my boobs look great!! I'll have to post some new outfit pix later... Friday night, we went to Dixie Stampede for Josh's birthday. I knew that I wouldnt be able to eat all of the food, and my hubby gladly took what I couldn't. Afterwards, we went to Funspot, the best Go Cart park in Orlando. They have multi level tracks n such.. The last time I was there, I was newly dating Josh.. (5.5 years ago). Even then, I needed a seatbelt extender because it wouldn't go around my big belly. I was so nervous going thru the line.. when I got to the front... I asked if they still had extenders... and was told that they did. I told him I would need one. He said he'd bring it to me... to go grab a cart. I pulled the straps all the way out before I even got in. Then I put the straps on.. Imagine my surprise when I got in, the belt snapped, and I had to pull in about 6-7 inches of slack in on it!!! I was so excited!! I only rode it once though, cuz I got sick.. lol. Saturday, we went to Disney. We did 3 of the 4 parks, and walked for 14 hours in the parks and then another hour to our car. I rarelly needed to stop, (mostly I was just VERY thirsty - I had 64 oz of tea, and 3 24 oz bottles of water). I was able to ride EVERY ride, no belt problems and usually I had alot of room to spare... I'm on top of the world.. blisters n all!

woo-hoo!! you hard work is paying off! I am so proud of you for not giving up, and I totally rejoice in getting into smaller clothes, and no belt extenders, and endurance. Praise God....I am all smiles for you!! hugs, Tami

Tami, It's the first time I've went shopping since surgery.. It sure does feel good!!!

Congratulations. You should be really proud of yourself. You have worked hard for it. Doesn't it feel good?
