Anyone here in West Pasco County?

Just wondering if we have anyone here in the group who is in the Port Richey area of Florida. We recently moved to Florida and am in the early stages of researching WLS and would like to attend a seminar and/or support group meetings. Thank you, -Marianne C.

Marianne, there are now several surgeon in the Tampa Bay area, but only a few which hold the "Center of Excellence" Award. Mine is Dr.Rehnke at the Palms of Pasadena in St.Petersburg. The other I'd recommend by association with his pateints is Dr.Murr at the Tampa General Hospita. Hi Marianne, We offer free information sessions at our hospital at different times during the month. Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater has two surgeons who perform both LAP Band and Lap RNY Gastric Bypass. They are excellent having both been trained at the Cleveland Clinic and completing one year fellowships in Laparoscopic weight loss surgery. If you would like some more information on the sessions let me know. I can email you a flyer and answer most of your questions as I am post-op and the Bariatric Coordinator for our program.
