tricare, North. FL.. help??

I just found out that the Dr I was interested in (Dr Henderson) has changed his policies and is asking for 4900 dollars up front out of pocket for tricare policy holders. I need recommendations for surgeons in S. Ga or N. Fla who accept tricare and don't need money out of pocket(besides fees for psych. & nut. exam). Any help? I am from St Marys, and I'm not going to be able to travel that far.

Hi jasmine, I can only tell you that Dr. Jawad in Ocala accepts tricare. I know that is a little trek from St. Mary's..(I grew up in St. Mary's and my husband was on a Trident there). It isn't a bad drive though and I had little to no out of pocket expenses. Good luck. Kirsten
