got my date and insurance approval!

I am so happy. I now have insurance approval and my date ( august 24) I am counting the days. Anyone go to Cleveland clinic weston or Dr. Rosenthal?

Congrats on your date. I know there are a few people hanging around here that went to the Cleveland clinic or had Dr. Rosenthal. Maybe they will come out of the wood work and help you out. Good luck Tracey

Netta, hows it going? Had my surgery with Dr. Rosenthal on 4/10, you can read my profile if you want to know more about my experience. Had a 3 month follow up yesterday, things look good, still waiting for a small hole from my incision to heal completely. Dr. Rosenthal is a good guy, very personable, listens, responds honestly. Hospital is pretty nice, all private rooms, great staff, really sensitive to people of our...ummm...dimensions (though mine are substantially less then they were). But good luck, your in good hands on the "right" coast. John

John, Thanks for the response. It is very reassuring. I am traveling 170 miles for this. Dr. I used to live in Ft. Lauderdale but moved to Port Charlotte. This is a very small town comparitively, so I decided to continue with Dr. Rosenthal. I was turned down 3 yrs ago with Cigna. Now I have ChampVA and they covered it immediately. YEAH!

Congratulations!!! Aug 24th will be here before you know it!! My coworker is going thru Cleveland Clinic and I believe Dr Rosenthal is her surgeon too. She's about to get a date soon too!
