100 Pounds GONE Today

Hi! I am new to the Florida board .. however not to Obesityhelp.com. I just hit my 100 pound mark today and I am so happy! I had my surgery Nov. 21, 2005. I just wanted to share with all of you and also to say Hello and I hope every one has a great Friday! TGIF 233/133

That's Wonderful Kellie!!!! Keep moving to a Lighter you. Were here to Support you. I too just passed the 100# Lost mark. 70 since surgery (2 months) but total 115 since Christmas. How long have you've been in St.Pete, as your profile shows you received your RNY out of this area? Are you attending any of the several Support Groups in Pinellas? If need any info or help don't hesitate to ask or post. Mike

Thanks guys! I just moved from Alabama that is where my RNY was performed. I have only been here two weeks..well that is with my family here. My husband is from Tampa originally and he took a job transfer on the 10th. I came down last month to start working while my husband stayed in Birmingham with the children. We moved the contents of the house last week and got all moved in. It is so nice having everybody under one roof again! I attended support groups from time to time in Alabama and would love some information about support groups in Pinellas that I could attend! Please let me know if you have that info! I am so proud of you both on your accomplishments .... and for welcoming me to the board! 115 since Christmas is just awesome!

Hmm I hit that link and it didn't work for me. I did find support groups on this website but just Seminole and Tampa. Since I am not a patient of any dr. here I guess that is what I might have to do. Although, I think I may call Dr. Rehnke and ask them if I can use him and have my chart transferred. That is soo cool being a prof. Santa... watch out Easter Bunny here you come!!
