Congratulations Alexa, Will you complete your profile that we may read your entire story. I'm still healing from my Hernia incision wounds but still losing along the way. But keep us update as toward your progress now with maintaining for us still traveling on our WLS Journey. Hey Alexa!!! I am so glad to hear your doing good. So funny how our lives change after surgery, go go go. I have been maintaining since December...only a 5 pound flucuation depending on the time of the month. So I can't complain much I have been busy busy too...finally getting my A&P II class done, so I can apply for RN programs. Tracey

As I tell people, if I didn't have WLS I would be 500 pounds by now from stress. We moved out in Feb...said it would take a year to tear down 1/3 of the house and put it back up. We thought everything was fine til I noticed the strings for the walls looked a little funny...they had cut 3-4 feet off of the house. They realized the original plans were wrong, since our general contractor had different measurements that looked right. Well they fix that wall but in the process move the inside wall of the garage 3-4 feet too much towards the street, making the garage smaller and the kitchen bigger. We were beyond irritated then. They had to stop all work and redo the plans offically and then rip up the footers and redo the pinning of the house. Just this week, they poured the floors...seems like things are going better...NOT! I went over there last night and opening for the garage door is 4 feet too small. This is on top of that the garage is still smaller then originally and the kitchen is larger. Yeah I know larger kitchen would be great, but there is an upstairs above the kitchen that now has to be expanded to fit correctly. It is a huge cluster (insert bad word). On top of that we are having issues with our insurance company not reinbursing us for extra mileage. I have stopped taking care of the pool over at the broken house since I am not going to recoup the money. I told them they need to pay for a pool service instead I will NOT be driving over there every couple days anymore. Half the time I want to cry...I am very stressed out, the whole family is. We just want the house finished so we can get on with our lives, we have been dealing with this for over 2 years now. I hope to see you soon though. I am thinking about going to the conference next month, Lord knows I need a vacation from all this, if only for 1 1/2 days. Tracey

that does seem like a mess... i hope it gets worked out soon... im thinking about going to the confrence.... i really am... only if i can get a day off of work though.. then the fall semester starts on the 24th.. so we will see...

Yeah big mess...my husband also left me tonight. I will try to make it down there but it looks like I won't be able to make it at all. I was on the edge as it was before tonight and now to be blindsided like this..gah! Tracey
