Call your Doctor now, Don't wait by posting here. It could be serious if it's making you cry. I'm guessing because it's not listed on your profile you did not have surgery yet. Good luck, Mike

I had gas this bad during my pregancy. We would use a clean rolling paint brush to roll out the gas on my back.

Ruby...here's another one...there are a lot of us with this pain that are post ops...does it start up high in the tummy and work down to the gut....and does it come in spasms like labor pains...... Sounds familiar... Hugs Charlie

Ruby...well, I don't have a gallbladder either. It isn't that at all. It seems to be happening to a lot of us at about 2 years out. Not everyone gets it....so it isn't a complication of WLS for everyone....I think we should all get a read on this and have someone present it the next ASBS convention.... I have sent a letter to my gastric bypass doc asking him if he has any idea...which I'm sure he doesn't since I've called in before in the throes of this pain....and he thinks its adhesions... Anyway....would you send me an email and describe what happens to you in detail.... Hugs Charlie

Thank you. I tried to e-mail you but I don't have the email address. I eat then in a few moments. I get a sick feeling then cramps start happen until they get to the point of crying. It starts in the upper area and works itself down. It is just like a labor pain. There not other words for it. Not only this I am also waking up with cramps in my legs and feet. The cramps actually bend my foot. Something is surely wrong. I am going to my surgon on the 24th of this month. Charlie thank you for your concern. If you find anyone that knows anything about this sistuation please pass it on two me. I also want to thank you for your website. We need more of these. I wish we could print another book like Susan did but only gastric bypass recipes. Maybe everyone should get togeher and submit one and we all make a book. Just a thought.

Sounds like gall stones . Do you still have your gallbladder? The way you discribe the pain sounds like it. Call your surgeon so they can get you in for an mri. Good luck Pj
