Next Support Meeting

Hi, I am a first timer. I have been reading posts for a while. I've been through the mill with doctors and quite frankly am getting weary. Can someone tell me when the next Orlando support group is? I really would like to meet people face to face and discuss their experience. My ins. covers Dr. Jawad in Ocala but requires a 6 month diet. Has anyone else had to do this? Does it have to be supervised and by who? Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Lynette In Alt Spr.

Hi Lynette, You'll be in GREAT hands with Dr. Jawad!! He is absolutley WONDERFUL!!! To answer your questions there is a support meeting this wed. night at 7:00 in the library on state road 50 across from the Fashion Square Mall!! I hope we'll see you there!! Also usuaslly the supervised diet can either be with Dr. Jawad or your primary, unless of course your insurance company is really picky. I would definitley check with them before you start it!! Lynette, There is also a bi monthly meet and greet at the Altamonte Mall. We meet in the food court and will post a date for August. Look for that posting, as we'd all love to meet you too. I pray all goes well as you get your surgery all in place. The 6 month diet is not too bad, its hard to wait, but it'll be over before you know it. Many people have used Dr Jawad and just love him.
