Closer & Closer
YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!! I'm getting closer and closer, as many of us are here. 08/01 is right around the corner and I am getting more excited by the second. I wanna get certified to dive, be able to roll over in one continuous motion w/o crushing my fiance', be able to fit in a booth at a diner, buy clothes at the "skinny store", get off of BP, cholesterol and pain meds, walk from my car to my office w/o sweating rediculously, etc. etc. I could just keep going.
Thanks to everyone who have completed your journey and/or have experienced many things while on your journey and have shared those stories and feelings with all of us who are starting out. I really appreciate all of the support and information provided and I'm looking forward to being able to share my journey for those who will experience it later.

Congrats Jerry! I bet it is just so exciting to have a date set! Your nephew and niece are ADORABLE! You have so much to look forward to- funny to hear a guy say they look forward to shopping...
On another topic, I see you have Dr. Murr lined up to do your surgery- I went to his seminar and never got to see/hear him, but Dr. Gallagher showed up for a little bit. I am undecided on the two of them at this point and wanted to know: Do you like Murr, and if so, what do you like the most? I don't see too many comments on him in the Surgeon Reviews, so any help you can provide would be great!
Again, your time is getting so close! Keep up the enthusiasm, and you will be on the other side soon enough! JO

Jo,
Thanks for posting. I really can't wait!!! And yes, I am Thrilled to be able to shop again
. I have met Dr. Murr and he is a very polite, inteligent, and really cares about his patients. I chose him for a few reasons actually. First and foremost, he operated on 2 of my friends and also my sister. He has also operated on many of my sister's co-workers as well. EVERYONE has loved him! I stayed with my sister most of her time while she was in the Hospital (TGH, by the way, the hospital and it's staff ='s Awesomeness). He showed an excellent bedside manner and constantly checked on her and made sure everything went smoothly. So without a doubt, He's the doctor for me because I've seen him in action, and to me, that means everything. I hope this helps Jo, if you have any questions, just ask. And yes, I absolutely love my neice and nephew, they are my life, thanks for the compliment.
