Anyone here have Foot Surgery on Heel Spurs?

Hello, I was hopng to have the WLS done 1st. I havent heard anything from my 1st appeal & I now have heel spurs in BOTH feet. I can't walk much & when I do it's very painful & I am down for the rest of the day if I am on my feet alot during the day. I look like I am 90 years old when I do walk.. I can't stand it. I went in for the cort. shot & it was the WORST pain I ever went thru {worse then natural child birth IMO}, it felt better a few days after the shot was given, but it only lasted 3 weeks, then the pain was back. My foot Dr told me surgery was not as difficult anymore & your only down a week or so. I am worried if & when I finally get approved I won't be able to walk as much as I need to, Any thoughts on this????
