We are doing good. The broken house is taking forever, been having problems with placement of walls and such. My son is having his tonsilles removed on the 6th of July, so I am a bit nervous about that. My middle daughter is doing very well, enjoying her summer. My youngest has PICA (eats strange things) we are trying to figure out why, it isn't a vitamin diffency, like we hoped. They thought it is high functioning autism, but she don't have the basic signs. We are now thinking it is Asperger Syndrome...I am taking her to a special pediatritian in August to start testing her. I am in school for my last class before putting in my application for the Nursing program, that is one of the only things going great right now. Oh and I am still maintaining...no gaining from stress.
Oh my mom bought a new Harley too, she is just soooo crazy!
I hope all is well with you, you need an updated picture since you had your facelift...need to see the new you.
Good luck with your LBL, I will for sure be thinking about you. And thanks for asking how we are doing...I hate to burden the board with my issues. If I posted all of the problems we are dealing with right now...everyone would think I was talking crazy talk
Oh are you planning on attending the conference in Ft. Lauderdale in August?
Tracey

Tracey,
I'm sorry to hear things are still so stressful in your life, but glad to hear you're maintaining your weight and that your classes are going well. In spite of everything, you should be very proud of yourself b/c you know that before your WLS you'd probably be eating the legs off the tables trying to cope with your stress. I'M proud of you!!!!
Keep searching until you find someone who knows what is going on with your daughter. Often, the key to life with a child with those kinds of difficulties is finding a doc that truly understands what is going on and is willing to work with you to figure out how to adapt your lifesytle to accomadate your child's special requirements. It isn't easy, but it can be done! I'll say a prayer for you as you search for a diagnosis & treatment.
Yes, I'm hoping to attend the Ft. Lauderdale conference but I don't think I'll stay at the Westin. I think the cheapest room was $149 and even if I find someone from Tallahassee willing to share a room with me, that is still an expensive room. Maybe I can find a cheaper hotel nearby. I'm spending all my money on plastics these days!!
Take care & keep in touch!
